Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor and director. He was also a writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop located in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows, following Silk's change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been working on Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
